Sandie Maxa grew up in the Land of 10,000 Lakes which has resulted in her affinity for walleye, Prince and snow storms. She went to college in the Dairy State which led to a love of cheese and Leinenkugel's. After moving to the east coast in 1999, she now lives in New York City and visits museums and galleries as often as possible. Professionally, she runs a graphic design studio and teaches typography (among other things) at a large university. An identical twin, Sandie often gets asked if she and her sister have special twin powers (of course she can't tell you that).
